Engine, Transmission, and Propeller
The original Universal engine was replaced with a new Universal 25XP at Portland Yacht Services in 2015. It has a five year warranty. The original Hurth transmission was replaced at that time with a new Hurth transmission, also with a five year warranty. The propeller was replaced with a new one by Accutech Marine in 2015.
Sleeps six. V berth forward. Enclosed head with Raritan electric toilet. Raritan motor was replaced in 2016 (two year warranty) and all sanitation hoses upgraded to Trident 101 (five year warranty). Built-in clothes hamper, separate shower stall next aft to starboard, hanging lockers opposite. Main cabin with settee to port, L-shaped settee to starboard that converts to form double berth. Fixed drop-leaf centerline table (currently in storage). U-shaped galley next aft to port, nav station and quarterberth opposite to starboard. Dickinson Alaska floor-mounted diesel cabin heater with hot water coil.
U-shaped galley features a Princess three-burner stainless steel propane stove with oven, ice box (with electric peristaltic pump drainage system), double stainless steel sinks, pressurized hot and cold water system. Fresh water hoses replaced in 2016 (new). Aluminum fresh water tanks under port and starboard settees. Built-in trash receptacle.
12 volt DC and 110 volt dockside AC systems. Three batteries including one 12 volt starting battery and two 6 volt house batteries. Batteries five years old. Guest 20 amp battery charger/converter. Shore power cord (updated to smart plug 2016). The wiring to the panel was upgraded in 2016. Two DC receptacles in cockpit and one DC receptacle at nav table..
Electronics and Navigation
Garmin GPSMap 3205 GPS/color chartplotter, Icom 412 VHF radio transceiver, Datamarine depthsounder. Datamarine knotmeter and apparent windspeed/direction indicator, neither of which are currently working. Ritchie pedestal-mounted compass.
Hull, Deck, and Rudder
The bottom was stripped to bare fiberglass and barrier coated in 2014. The rudder was replaced in 2014 with a new one from Foss Foam (manufacturer of original rudder) in Florida. Dyneema double lifelines with gates, port and starboard. Transom-mounted swim ladder.
Sails and Rigging
Mainsail (average condition) and 135% roller-furling genoa (good condition, new UV cover, leech line, and stitching in 2016)). Two spare genoas in average condition. Harken roller-furling system. Mast, boom, and standing rigging were all replaced in 1994, the result of a fire in the barn in which the mast and boom were stored separately from the boat. Two self-tailing Lewmar genoa sheet winches, one self-tailing Lewmar winch mounted on coach roof to starboard of companionway.
Winter frame and canvas cover. Dodger (worn), Wirie internet booster, Dual MXDM66 AM/FM/CD stereo with two speakers in main cabin. 35 lb. CQR plow anchor with 25' chain and 200' rode. Two Den Haan bulkhead-mounted brass paraffin oil lamps. Barograph barometer. Screens for all hatches including companionway. Four PFD's, boat hook, six docklines, three fenders. Rule 2000 electric bilge pump (2015), manual bilge pump.
