The Ted Hood/Dieter Empacher design team's collaboration with Bristol Yachts resulted in the creation of the classically modern and highly respected Bristol 31.1, a beautifully finished, boat featuring graceful lines, a comfortable and attractive interior, and fine performance. Bristol 31.1's are well-known for the their high quality of workmanship, attention to detail, and sailing attributes.
Amanda G is a wonderful example of this classic design. Her owner has taken meticulous care of this vessel, inside and out. The 'high-flared' teak toe-rails were stripped and 6 coats of varnish applied in 2017. Interior teak cabinets were removed and stripped with a satin varnish finishes applied 2016. New sails and bimini 2015. New rigging 2014. Amanda G is ready to set sail with her next proud owner.

A large V-berth, with filler piece, is forward with storage above in outboard cabinets and more storage below the berth. A bureau and hanging locker is to starboard just aft of the V-berth. The head (new in 2003) is next aft to port with a vanity, shower and sump, sink and more storage. The main salon has pull-out settees port and starboard, with storage above, behind and underneath the berths. A bulkhead mounted, drop down solid teak table folds neatly out of the way. The galley is aft of the starboard settee, again with lots of storage. The nav station is aft to port with a full size chart table. There are three Bomar hatches, six opening ports, and two dorade vents with guards for plenty of ventilation.
Hull and Deck
White hull; white deck w/tan nonskid; split red boot stripe; red cove stripe; red bottom. Modified fin keel with skeg hung rudder and prop in aperture between the skeg and rudder.
Misc gear and equipment
Amanda G is a fine example of Bristol craftsmanship. She has been well cared for by her past and present owners. Her interior and exterior show very well. The bottom has been barrier coated and is in good condition.
