Ticon 30 Sloop

The Ticon 30 demonstrates what quality and comfort can be like in a 30-footer, whether at the dock or in deep water. She was built in Ontario to allow her owners to enjoy through-and-through construction quality and first-class livability. The Ticon 30’s standard features created one of the shortest option lists ever seen on a 30- footer.

 The Halsey Herreshoff design is stiff and stable with its 44% ballast ratio. Her fractional sail rig allows for easier sail-handling ability. She ghosts well in light air and stands up to heavy weather. Her roomy cockpit allows for comfort underway and plenty of elbow room when quick movement may be necessary.

The interior is a picture of comfort and practicality. She sports a comfortable galley aft to port in the salon and a very confortable foldaway dinette arrangement with seating for six in the port and starboard settees. For sleeping, you will find crossover bunk in the v-berth and a double quarterberth aft to starboard, which is a great layout for a young family.
