Beautiful much loved and pampered yacht reluctantly for sale due to relocation. Often mistaken for a Swan, "Scehawk" sails beatifully without the same price tag . She presents in fantastic condition- someone will buy a superb yacht for a very modest sum. She has been across the Atlantic with ease and cruised thousands of miles in comfort and safety. Recent upgrades include renewed seacocks, DZR with gunmetal skin fittings, replaced loos x2, new shower taps and hoses, new swim shower fitted, Banks No 2 (blade) 3 years old, New Hood FB main 1 year old, cooker, batteries, SS water tanks, teak was removed from decks and awlgrip finish applied, replaced windows, replaced teak in cockpit, replaced upholstery in main salon, standing rigging stays 2 years Old, replaced electronics with chart plotter and tack tick wind system interfaced with new Autopilot course computer (Raymarine) and Icom VHF DSC. The biggest improvement/ upgrade was the removal of the keel to assess the condition of the keel bolts two years ago. Whilst the keel was off ( and this was not because of a grounding incident- just for maintenance) the decision was taken to grind out flaky looking laminate and completlely reconstruct the bilge and stiffening of the keel supporting structure. Epoxy resins were used and the bilges remain bright white and dry- an excellent and costly job. The keel bolts were themselves all found in good condition but renewed just the same, to be sure.Scehawk has been expertly and beautifully varnished by Antiguan professionals and a replacement Bimini, spray hood and large awning were all renewed whilst she was in the Caribbean  2006-2012. She was maintained on a regular basis whilst laid up ashore during the hot and quiet summer periods. She was subject to a major upgrade of the wiring and main switchboard system, you will not find this level of installation on any other 41 that I know of. The battery system which is charged well by a reconditioned alternator and two 85 w solar panels (mppt charge controller), is monitored by a Link Battery monitor. She has a split system with two House batteries and a single dedicated Engine start battery. There is an emergency crossover switch. She has a recent USB stereo fitted with deck speakers. She comes with an AB RIB tender which is stable and dry, driven by a Yamaha 4hp outboard with low hours. A useful fwd storage locker was fitted recently. Her engine is a Bukh 3 cylinder 36 Hp Diesel, driving a two bladed folding propellor. 1600 hrs since overhaul, starts and runs well- even in freezing conditions and with no glow plugs! Regularly maintained by marine engineer. Fuel tank has just been cleaned out new flexi armored fuel lines fitted, engine is serviced and ready for use. When I bought Scehawk I had the gel coat stripped off and the hull was dried out before a full osmosis protection system being applied. She is berthed in Port Grimaud with no boats rubbing on either side outside a private house. It very safe from the weather as well as  secure. With short, cheap flights from the Uk why wouldn't you want to have your boat in near guaranteed sunshine and warm turquoise waters? Added to the wonderful cruising grounds on your doorstep.......Scehawk is fitted with an iridium Satphone which used on a pre paid SIM card to download grib files when offshore, she also has a Hydrovane wind pilot system. These items can be supplied by negotiation.
