The Sabre 38 Mark I layout is unique. She sleeps 7 in three cabins. As you enter the companionway, there are numerous handholds that make navigating the Sabre 38 easy and safe while at sea. To starboard is a hanging locker with double berth aft. Engine is on centerline beneath the companionway steps with good access from all sides. To Port is a single berth and a Navigation table. A sliding door allows this aft cabin to be closed off giving privacy to the rest of the crew. The galley is to port and the SS sink is on centerline. Opposite is a spacious head with access doors from the salon or the aft cabin. At the base of the companionway stairs, this makes for a great wet locker. Forward is the salon. A centerline table that can fold away or open on port or starboard can seat a large crew when fully open. Single settee to port with convertible double to starboard. Forward is the owner's stateroom with generous V berth accommodations. Dorade vents and two large opening hatches plus numerous opening ports (with screens) provide excellent ventilation throughout. There is abundant storage below and behind settees with numerous drawers, lockers and hanging lockers throughout the vessel.
