“Barefoot” is a beautiful Two Owner 2-cabin Nelson Marek designed Morgan 45-4. Unlike other Morgans, this boat is FAST. She has Beautiful Lines and is Sea Kindly and Strong. Down below this boat is absolutely spacious, loaded with warm hardwoods, tons of storage, and Excellent cruising amenities. “Barefoot” has NEW 2013 non-skid decks, her engine was replaced in 1997 with a 50 HP Yanmar with only 1710 hours, and she has Air Conditioning, Adler Barbour refrigeration, Single Side Band, a Northern Lights 6.0 KW Generator and much, much more….
With only a 5.5 ft. draft (centerboard up), she's well suited for Florida and Bahamas sailing and her current owners have done just that. They have owned her since 1993 and have been to the Bahamas 7 times, cruised all of Florida and have been to the Keys more times than they can remember. She has a solid fiberglass hull, double spreaders and rod rigging. She was designed to IOR rules in effect at that time and has a PHRF average rating of about 93 so she will get you to your cruising destination quickly.
Here is what South Winds Magazine had to say in a review in 2008: "Big, Fast, Beautiful, Strong, Sea-Kindly ! Those are terms inevitably used when describing the popular and enduring Nelson/Marek designed Morgan 45 sloop....."
Don't wait to see this Morgan Nelson Marek designed Cruiser/Racer Classic.....

"Barefoot" is in VERY good condition for a vessel of her age, the owners have all the manuals for all the on board equipment and invoices for all the work they have done on her over the years. There is no Chart Plotter/GPS on the boat as the one they had "bit the dust" recently so it was taken off the vessel. You will need to purchase a new one and you have a lot of choices out there very reasonably priced right now....
