History
From 1986-2004, Whiplash Smile was owned by Billy Idol’s producer, Keith Forsey, and named Rebel Yell. In 2009, the second owner purchased and began upgrading her, and rechristened her Whiplash Smile, after Idol’s third album. The current owner purchased the boat in 2016 and added a few upgrades.
This is a very unique boat that has been very well maintained throughout her life and in unusually good condition. It would be hard to find a better value in today's market.
Accommodations
The forward stateroom has a v-berth and generous storage in hanging and hull lockers. A full head is to port and offers a separate entrance to/from the forward stateroom. Aft to port is a u-shaped dinette with drop down leaf and to starboard a full length settee. Behind both are pilot berths to accommodate additional crew. A flat panel TV with DVD / Stereo is mounted on the forward bulkhead.
Further aft to starboard is a navigation station with instrumentation (including a new Raymarine GPS), electrical panel and storage under the seat. To port is a full galley with double sink, gas range / oven and top loading refrigeration.
Two staterooms occupy the aft section of the boat. To port is a double berth with hanging locker. The stateroom to starboard has a single berth with en-suite mini-head.
Both heads have been upgraded with designer sinks and fixtures.
