!Price reduction Price lowered to $154,000 and lowered again 7NOVEMBER 2014 You will not be disappointed when you see her;
Owners would like to hear offers!!!
This past June the owners asked their marine electrician and mechanic to look for things that needed attention in their respective areas of expertise and then asked them to attend to their lists. The work is done and PASSPORT VI is ready for survey.
Passport VI belongs to yacht owners of long experience who are exceptional stewards and have managed the maintenance and improvements of this Grand Banks 42' Classic as would a professional Captain. It is a challenge to accurately guess the year of build of any of the yachts they have owned as they always appear much newer than they are.
All NEW teak decks replaced the original in 2003, but one would think this was a much more recent improvement as they appear to be new.
Her owner would consider delivering her on her own bottom to a U. S. East Coast port for the next owner.
There is a prepurchase survey report from 2007 available on request; as the detail of this listing suggests, much has been done since then to put her in the exceptional condition she is in today
You will be challenged to find one of her vintage in better condition at this price level.
Over $100,000.00 has been spent on hard improvements (not routine maintenance) since 2007.

I just recently visited PASSPORT VI and her owners on Lake Champlain in Plattsburgh, NY. The Plattsburgh Boat Basin is a large marina and on entering I spotted a new Grand Banks 42' admired her for a few seconds and then continued to search with my eyes to locate PASSPORT VI. after driving around to the other side, I concluded that I should drive around to look at the transom of the new Grand Banks 42'; there she was! If you are driving from NY to Maine on 95 and focused on seeing all the Grand Banks 42's available in brokerage, you would not be doing diligence if you don't go to Plattsburgh to see PASSPORT VI, in fact you would probably miss the best of all!!!
If price motivates you to buy another or smaller, at least satisfy yourself that you've seen the best of her vintage.
I updated my photo file for her on this trip and will happily share them on request.
