Carver is known to build solid, quality boats. This versatile 28 foot long, fiberglass hulled Cabin cruiser has twin V8 powered inboard counter-rotating propellers (this makes handling much easier). The floor plan is exceptional in that it has all the amenities of a larger boat in a much more manageable package. The Riviera is said to be like having a 40 foot boat on a 28 foot hull. We are not the original buyer but have owned this boat for 7 years. It has the typical wear and maintenance issues that are to be expected. The bilge is dry, the stringers are sound, and the hull was repainted a few years ago and is in good shape.
