The Cape Dory 36 is a well respected coastal cruiser that is a capable off shore vessel as well. They have a spacious layout for cruising, wide decks for tending sails and a cutter rig for short handed sailing.
"Harmony" has had only two owners, and both have provided her with great care. She is currently in the water, Dockside at Robinhood Marine Center, and ready to take her next owner cruising. She is well equipped including electric windlass, Sea Frost Refrigeration, Espar Heating System, and Raymarine E120 Chartplotter / Radar. All exterior teak has just been professionally finished with Sikkens Cetol, and Harmony looks great!

Standard Cape Dory 36 layout, of the newer, varnished configuration, with a bulkhead mounted dining table.
Harmony's layout starts with v-berths in the forward cabin with shelves above. A hanging locker is aft of the port berth and a chest of drawers is aft of the starboard berth. There is an insert for the berths, making for a double. 2 opening ports and an overhead hatch provide excellent ventilation. A bi-folding door closes the stateroom from the rest of the cabin.
Aft, to port, is the head area. A vanity sink with pressure hot and cold water and shower is forward, and a marine toilet is aft in the area. An opening port and a dorade vent provide ventilation. To starboard, opposite the head is a large hanging locker.
The main cabin has settee berths port and starboard, with the port berth extending inboard to form a double berth. 3 enclosed lockers are above each berth with a shelve above the lockers. Water tanks are under the berths plus a small amount of additional storage area. A drop leaf dining table is mounted on the port bulkhead.
The galley is aft, to port. It is an excellent "U" shaped design, noted best for offshore sailing. The sink is in the forward section, the CNG stove with oven in the middle and the ice box is aft. Large storage lockers are outboard of the stove and the ice box sections.
To starboard is a large chart table, followed by a generous sized quarter berth.
The cabin is finished in rich, varnished teak, and white formica in the galley and head areas. There are 10 opening ports, 2 dorade vents, and two large opening hatches throughout the cabin for great ventilation.
