Hull # 1 of the very sensibly designed and well thought out Blue Seas 31s. On just her third owner, she has been very nicely kept and winter before last (2015) was re-Awlgripped with Jade Green Awlgrip, and her house and decks were refinished with Topside, a high gloss single part polyurethane; new waste tank hoses and head in 2013. A very nicely kept and priced downeast boat!

Single stateroom galley up configuration with a large V-berth 7' in length with a filler forward with storage in a bureau and hanging locker. Aft and to starboard is a traditional stand up chart table with storage under and shelves outboard. Opposite is the enclosed head with electric flush Jabsco toilet plumbed via a Y-valve to the holding tank, vanity outboard with stainless steel sink with pressure water and storage.
Up three steps to the wheelhouse which includes the helm station, settee and galley. The helm is to starboard with bench seat with storage under, opposite to port is a straight settee over 6'-6" in length forward of which is a double insulated ice box.
The straight Galley is to starboard and is fitted with a Norcold dual voltage refrigerator freezer, 2 burner propane stove and single basin stainless sink with pressure cold water. Storage is very good for a vessel this size with a number of lockers and drawers.
Head room is in excess of 6'-4" throughout, teak and holly soles (new cabin sole below in 2000); 12 Volt lighting throughout. Four sliding windows in the salon as well as fixed windshield windows and two other fixed windows, four opening ports and one large hatch.

Mechanical & Electrical
Detroit 8.2 220 HP engine turns a 4 bladed propeller on a 1.5" stainless steel shaft through a Twin Disc transmission. The combined engine hour meters (one is older and has been replaced) show 2225 hours as of date of listing 8/9/16.
The owner cruises the boat at 1200 rpm getting 8 knots but reports a maximum all day cruise at 2250 rpm of app 12 kt with wide open throttle of 2800 rpm producing 14 kt.
