Bertram 26.II Sport Convertible, model 261 outboard

Price reduction! This is one of the rarest Bertrams on the planet. According to our knowledge it is number five of the 32 original Bertram factory built outboard models. It left the factory in 1983 as a Bertram 26.II Sport Convertible, model 261 Outboard. The boat is not a 100% factory restoration but for a 27 year old boat it is as good as they come without being complete restorations. The engines are professionally maintained 2003 Yamaha 225 hp 4-stroke outboards with full electronic instrumentation and approximately 980 hours on them. The last 100 hour service was performed on 08/2010. A new coat of bottom paint was applied at the same time.

The boat has the original wood gunwales in good condition. Some refinishing work is required to make them 100%. The hull is solid as a rock. All the canvas in the boat (top and the side mesh curtains) are from 2009 and in perfect condition. The boat was completely re-wired in 2007 along with all new hydraulics for the steering. Repower to the current 2003 Yamahas was done at the same time.
