This Tartan 42 is a Sparkman & Stephens design that built during the “golden age” of production boat building. In the early nineteen eighties Tartan Marine was producing some of the best production boats ever built, with all teak interiors and hand laid hulls. The hull shape of the Tartan 42 is classic IOR with ample tumble home and fine ends. The boat was offered with two draft options and ARIA has the preferred shoal draft with the patented Scheel Keel.
