The Tanzer 10.5 is a descendant of a powerful Fastnet winner and offers distinctive styling and innovative engineering. Although the Tanzer 10.5 looks very much like a sleek sailboat, it actually has a pilothouse with an interior steering station. She is not your average motorsailer but a swift, comfortable aft-cabin cruising yacht. She is truly a 34-footer and was designed with a number of very interesting and innovative features. She has a retractable-ballasted keel. Unlike many boats with a swing keel arrangement, the Tanzer 10.5's keel fills-in the entire keel house opening when it is in its lowered position. This means its performance should come very close to that of a true fixed keel. Likewise, although the Tanzer 10.5 looks like it is an aft-cockpit boat, she is really a quasi mid-cockpit sailboat. She has a cabin located aft of the cockpit, which is connected to the main cabin by a small passage way. She has an elegant three-cabin design featuring a main salon aft cabin and a forward cabin with berths for seven. The main salon has u-shaped settee to port, a straight settee to starboard with pilot station behind. Teak and holly sole throughout and complimented with central folding dining table/liquor cabinet. The navigation station with main electrical panel and chart table is located to starboard in the main saloon with the spacious aft cabin. Ample storage spaces available behind and above the settee back rests in the main salon. Cupboards and storage drawers enhance both, the aft and outward cabins. Behind the nav station is the electric head with cold water. The L-shaped full galley lies to port with laminated counters double s/s sinks and cold pressure water. Other features include a Force 10 3-burner propane stove and oven, large refrigerator and icebox and excellent space for storage in numerous deep cupboards and drawers. This is a rare and unique vessel that is in good condition and has had some upgrades over the last three years. | ||
