The Norseman 447 is yet another Robert Perry Design built by Ta Shing, one of the best boat yards in the world. This sleek design and robust construction, combines speed and overall performance in a superbly coordinated blue water passage maker.

Tohecan was built in 1982, launched in 1984 and is rare in that her original owner opted for "NO TEAK DECKS". Her second owner purchased the boat in 1993 and has used the boat for Pacific Northwest cruising. The hull and deck have recently been painted and she shows really well. Tohecan is an aft cockpit version of the 447. Advantages of this model are lower freeboard, easy low profile cmpanionway, large cockpit lazarette, excellent cockpit.

I had the pleasure of spending 10 days onboard a sistership, aft cockpit Norseman 447 with cruiser friends in the Sea of Cortez. We had some great sailing and I was very impressed with both the comfort and the performance of the boat.

She is rigged for easy single handing with all lines lead back to the cockpit, in boom furling, dual furling on head sail and stay sail, electric halyard winch.
