CORBIN Cutter 39 Pilothouse CC

The Corbin 39 Central Cockpit is a very charming yacht of character, offering :
-A central cockpit
-A deck saloon including a helmstation (pilothouse)
-A canoe stern

Thanks to her hull design and to her serious building in composite Airex Fiberglass, she is trully a small yacht fo sailing offshore safely and comfortably, easy to handle in any weather conditions.

The Corbin hull we currently speak about has been built in 1982, then stored in the yard, out of water, untill 1988. The deck has been added in 1988. She has been finished according to her owner wishes in 1989.

She is an "Edition Speciale" (also called MK II) with a bowsprit added and the mast moved forward (to reduce weather helm).

Here are some words of the owner about his yacht : "My dream began in 1990, when “Corbin Les Bâteaux” customized my Corbin 39 to my specs. To this date I have been the sol owner of this fabulous sailboat.

Between 1990 and 2001 she sailed the fresh waters of Lake Champlain (USA), and that for a period of two months yearly. In 2001 & 2002 this «world class sailboat» underwent a complete & major overhaul of nearly all her components… In the summer of 2002 her and 4 crew members (including myself) set sail across the Atlantic (north) from Montreal, Canada to New York (USA) to Gibraltar and last but not least via the Mediterranean to St-Tropez (France). She arrived safe & sound; thus confirming its classification by “Cruising World” magazine: That is the “Corbin 39″, stated as the best in its category «top offshore cruising sailboat».

Since 2002, she has been maintained yearly and stored out of the water, and is being used by myself approx. one month per year."
