This 1982 Catalina 27 was designed by Frank Butler and Bob Finch and built in California. She is hull #5212 out of 6662 built between 1971 - 1991. Fiberglass hull and deck assembly with deck-to-hull cap flange with aluminum & rubber guard rail. Fin keel with exterior lead ballast of 2700 lbs.
Beta Marine Diesel engine located under cockpit sole with access aft of companionway steps in cabin. Less than 200 hours. 1" SS shaft, 2-blade bronze Michigan Sailer, 12 RH 12 propeller. Spade rudder. Controls on steering pedestal. Tachometer with warning lights & alarms for alternator output, temperature & oil pressure. Edson pedestal steering, SS Destroyer wheel.

North main sail and genoa in new condition, SS standing rigging, Harken roller furling, 2-speed self-tailing Andersen winches, Dacron running rigging.
Behind rope locker is 6'3" vee berth for two with outboard shelves, stowage beneath. Next aft to port is hanging locker. To starboard is enclosed head with Wilcox toilet and SS sink with cold water pump. Aft bulkhead to starboard houses dining table that unfolds for use. Port 4'8" settee and Galley in aft cabin with SS sink, 2-burner alcohol stove, deep top loading ice box, shelving outboard and lockers below counter. Port 6'5" quarterberth. To starboard, 6'4" settee makes into a double, followed by a 6'5" quarterberth. 6' headroom, fixed side lights, cabintop hatch,
