She was built at Bültjer Yard in North Germany in 1981/82 and was designed by H. Bültjer and H. Jeglinski in a traditional way. The elegant lines of the hull are made of Oak ribs planked with Iroko wood. The decks are made of solid Burma teak. The goal was to built a strong and safe sailing yachts for all weather conditions in combiniation with easy handling and good sailing performance.
The keel is a classical long keel with enhanced rudder
The hull is made of 38mm Iriko wood (Kambala) on Oak ribs 70x90 mm.
The decks are 22 mm Burma-Teak on 8 mm marine plywood
The sealing was made new in 1997 with Formflex.
The deck bars are 70x60 mm Iroko and Esh visible glued.
Bolted steel kiel welded and filled with lead. Ballast ca. 6.000 Kg.
The hull is naturally varnished and painted. The entire boat was cleared in 1996/97 with new caulking and varnish, underwater body painted with antifouling.
All sea valves etc were replaced within the last 3 years and made of Marinebronce and S/S V4A.
