Hull: GRP/Carbon/Balsa core construction. Hull blasted below waterline to remove old paint coatings and refaired, primed and epoxy coated, 2004.

Forward lazarette with enormous volume for storage of sails and other equipment. The washer/dryers is located here as is the work bench and vice. All the ship's tools are in this area which is separated from the guest accommodation by a door at end of a corridor. To starboard is an upper and lower berth cabin, with lee cloths. The upper berth extends to become a small double. The mattresses are new and the soleboards as per the rest of the accommodation from forward to the galley is teak and holly covered with an oatmeal carpet (2006). The cabin has 2 fans. There are fans fitted in all the sleeping cabins and personal reading lights. There is a hanging locker and 2 further cupboards. To port is a double guest cabin with attractive dimensions and ample storage under the berth. This cabin has an ensuite heads and shower compartment with a vanity unit. The mirrors throughout the yacht have been replaced.
Further down the corridor to starboard is the day head which is also intended for use by the starboard guest cabin with shower. To port of this is a cupboard with excellent access to the mast area. The corridor leads to the main saloon. This is light and airy with a sofa to starboard and U-shaped seating area to port and coffee/dining table with adjustable leaves. The upholstery is in Terracotta Alcantara 2005. There is a full entertainment package and Alcantara headlinings which is carried on throughout the rest of the yacht. There is a companionway to the entertaining cockpit.
Behind the companionway is access to the engineroom which houses and main engine on a V drive, generator, watermaker and other services.
Aft to starboard is the refurbished galley with manifolds for fresh water and aft seacocks beneath the sole. It is a great chef's galley with twin sinks 2006, and U-shaped work surface with oven and hob, and washing up machine. Opposite is another work surface with chopping board and superb storage for galley equipment. Moving aft to the Nav. station with chart table capable of taking a full sized Admiralty chart. There is a corridor which runs to the aft companionway giving access to the sailing cockpit. Either side of this are two double cabins for crew which are simple, yet functional. To port is the crew head with shower. Forward of this is access to the owner's cabin with ensuite head and separate shower. This cabin is original and has a large vanity unit and good clothes stowage. There is a large double berth and a seating area covered in Alcantara. There is also a pull-out table.

We have been involved with MIDNIGHT SUN since 2003 when we joined her to oversee the refit in France for the then owner. We then had the opportunity to purchase her in 2005. We have loved owning this great yacht which sails like a witch and which has been totally upgraded of late. She has bee also MCA coded to Category 2. Her first Charter season was a great success and she was busy from 2008 to 2011- Now private use only.
She is easily run with 2/3 crew.
MIDNIGHT SUN is in sparkling shape and has potential for both private and charter use. Her pedigree is undoubted and she is offered fresh from a series of refits, details of these are attached to these particulars.
The following remedial works, improvements and additional purchases have been carried out from January 2004 ongoing to date, all the surveyors initial recommendations are included. Also included are works that were required by the MCA surveyor at the time of his first survey in May 2005 and subsequent inspection for cnnula coding. Currently expired Jan 2014.
