Valiant 40 Pilot House

DOROTHY is Hull #7 of the 10 Valiant 40 Pilot House models built in the time period of 1980-1981.  Some considered this the deluxe version of the more conventional trunk-cabin Valiant 40's, which were hugely successful.  The boat's original owners eventually wound up ordering a new traditional Valiant 40.  The interim owners home-ported the boat in Ketchikan, AK, and eventually cruised her to Mexico and back.  The current owners have been responsible for many upgrades and improvements during their tenure since 2000, and have sailed DOROTHY extensively in the Northwest, as well as on San Francisco Bay.  DOROTHY is in excellent cosmetic and functional condition, and ideally suited for cruising the Inside Passage to Alaska.
