Cooper 416 Pilothouse

The Cooper 416 was designed by well known Vancouver B.C. Naval Architect Stan Huntingford.  This unique boat was built by Cooper Enterprises of Vancouver B.C., with factory installed teak and holly floors and teak wall paneling.  In addition to the detailed construction the Cooper has an amazing amount of usable space with separate cabins a large salon and cockpit.   The large wind decks are uncluttered and are easy to negotiate even in rough weather.  With this boats relatively modern split underbody with fin and skeg hung rudder the sailing performance is very respectable for a vessel of this displacement.

The pictures don't convey the sheer magnitude of spacious comfort on this solid boat.  You really have to see the inside of a Cooper to comprehend the possibilities.  This is one of those rare boats that allows you to have 15 people on board and no one feels crowded or even realizes how many people are there until it is time to leave and everyone climbs off at once.
