The vessel has always had a full time captain responsible that all systems are kept in working order and the interior and exterior in good condition. The Caterpillar engines were overhauled in 2004 and bottom paint applied in July 2005. The import taxes were paid to both the US upon arrival and in Mexico upon importation.
