This 1981 Carver Monterey comes with all an original interior, and in great condition. She has been stored indoors through the winters, and looked after well through the summers. Also note the installation of a new Mercruiser Bravo engine, with 330HP and only 21 hours. The hull shows little wear, and with the canvas in great shape too, this Monterey looks really sharp. She is a great sized boat for the first time boat owner, and with a really well designed interior, she is a pleasure to spend time on. Her great open deck allows for alfresco dining in comfort, and with great amenities on the interior, she feels much bigger than 26’. She has recently been repowered with a 330HP Mercruiser Bravo engine, up from 260 with the original. Despite this, the new engine fits really well, and has good access for maintenance and engine checks. With only 21 hours on the log, this is a really great feature for a boat that doesn’t look her age. The outdrive was also replaced with a Mercruise Power Trim XD to give the best drive from the engine. This boat is ready to go, and the owner is open to offers.
