C&C YACHTS 40 Centerboard Aft Cockpit

This 1981 C&C 40 is one of the all time great racer/cruisers.This boat is a special 40’ since it is the centerboard model which allows for shallow draft sailing on a larger hull platform. When the centerboard is up, the draft is 4' 9" and when it is down it is 8' 6", allowing Shelsea to handle much stronger wind and sails closer to the wind.

Shelsea's owners have taken good care of her over the years but now have other plans that don’t allow the time for sailing. She is a clean boat that is rigged and ready with attractive interior soft goods and plenty of room to sleep seven. Previously in Nova Scotia waters this vessel is outfitted with a wood burning stove that will maintain comfort during an extended sailing season. Included in this package is a custom canvas winter cover, a 6 man life raft (Avon), a four (4) HP outboard motor, life jackets and all lines and fenders.
