This is a capable liveaboard cruising vessel that is proven blue water boat. We are proud to offer a great boat for under $90K. Great liveboard layout for a couple or small famiy. You will love the pullman berth forward and the small cabin aft on the port quarter. The salon features a pilot berth to port that is another good home for your smallest crew member, not that the berth is small, but what a great private space for a little one. The Tayana Vancouver 42 is one of those classic designs that just looks right; Skookum's sharp, high bow, dramatic sheer ling, powerful hull shape spells "real". The hull design has a beautiful swept back, long "cruising fin keel", huge skeg hung rudder, and beautiful rounded rear. On deck, the curve of the deck makes the surface completely flat at 12 degrees of heel. The high (32 inch) lifelines give security. The deep cockpit is secure and safe. Ta Yang has the reputation of being one of the most reliable and consistent yards in the orient. With the direction of Mr. Harris, they should produce a good product."

Our current offering has been owned by the current owners since 1986. In 25 years of ownership, these good boat owners have maintained her in excellent condition, caring for her like the family member she is. At the proper times, she's had injections of cash to make her what she is today, a great boat! Schookum has been repowered, re-rigged, renewed with an epoxy bottom, renewed with current electronics, and revarnished inside. She is a good boat owned by a knowledgeable owner.
This boat is in rock solid condition offering a two stateroom layout with an additional pilot berth, and she's got legs to get far.
