Shannon Ketch

The Shannon 38 was the first boat that was designed and built by Walter Schulz in Bristol, Rhode Island in 1975.  "The intent was to design and build offshore yachts of the highest quality standards. Over the years Shannons have earned an worldwide reputation for quality construction and off shore intergity." 

This Shannon 38 Ketch is a solid ocean going full keel vessel that will track well off the wind.  "Ursa Major" has all the sails that will give this ketch a good turn of speed off wind. 

 "Ursa Major" has had alot of work completed on the interior and the cockpit has been refinished.  Some exterior brightwork still needs to be refinished.  Seller is motivated and wants reasonable offers.

Seller has re-wired major systems (with wiring diagram).  On the schedule by our service yard, the boat is to cleaned and polished, brightwork to be refinished and new batteries installed.

She is in our marina and is easy to inspect.
