In 1980, a San Diego firm built 13 of these classic Scout Yachts, Zelda is Hull #8.  The attention to detail on these orginal 13 boats was excellent, using things like brass poles to support the canopy top.  Unfortunately, the San Diego firm was forced to sell the Scout molds to a Canadian firm.  They changed the engine type and the fit and finish did not compare to the original 13.

Zelda has had impeccable care, with many upgrades and her interior decorated by a designer. Her current owner purchased this boat because it is perfect for afternoon cocktails while watching the sunset on Lake Norman.
