This is a well known, proven design by John Cherubini, who is well known for his excellent boat designs. It is a spacious, well equipped, strong cruising boat. Cutter rigged for easy sail handling. Great boat for the Bahamas with a nice shallow draft, large cockpit for those sunsetter rum punch parties, and great belowdeck liveability.
The Hunter 37 is a substantial, quality, cruising yacht with great internal volume. This was Hunter's first cutter rig, the Hunter 37 sails beautifully! The addition of the club footed staysail makes this yacht easily handled in all weather by a small crew. Cruising keel with a balanced spade rudder with a leading edge hull skeg fillet.
The interior is nicely finished with varnished bulkheads, trim and cabin sole of teak and holly, a classic cruising interior with a large size head with separate shower stall, a good size galley-the layout also includes a nice size chart table.
One of the best boats ever built by Hunter. She is simple, fast, well designed for cruising, and best of all - very affordable.
