As the only Hinckley H-64 built with both the Tall Rig and in-Mast furling, ALLEGIANCE is a highly sought after, offshore capable vessel. The current owner has worked tirelessly to upgrade Allegiance without compromising the original vision of Henry Hinckley’s design.

ALLEGIANCE: The Hinckley 64 is an superbly capable offshore cruising yacht with a large, well-protected center cockpit, four staterooms, (one of which is a very large Master aft), three forward heads and one large aft head, private aft cockpit for the owner, large main salon with light, spacious, open interior due to use of light woods. She has modern updates combined with features of the past. Her twin Perkins diesels motor at hull speed with either engine and she enjoys the handling benefits of both engines and a new bow thruster during docking maneuvers.
Her owners have had the advantage of her ease of handling due to the yachts electric Stoway Main and mizzen. Her shallow draft allows gunk-holing where few yachts of her size may wander. She has a tall rig for plenty of power under sail and again, she is equipped to be easily short-handed.
The yacht is finished in traditional Oak trim over white paneling, semi-Herreshoff style. Her interior has been quite tastefully updated using contemporary materials into her original design.
ALLEGIANCE has recently enjoyed a thorough refit including new Awlgrip on the hull and the decks, a new hand built teak deck (7/8" versus 5/8" on many), mechanical, electrical, and electronic upgrades that should provide many years of relatively trouble-free operation.

The sumptuous raised salon configuration provides guests with as spacious a feeling of much larger yachts, and with large windows allowing for exceptional light and impression of larger space, ALLEGIANCE allows for dining, entertaining, par excellence with more friends, family and guests than many yachts her equivalent.
Large "L" shaped berth to port with Hi-Lo table allows either cocktails or fine dining for six. Two custom chairs to starboard with table between.
The design and build of two large built-in lounge chairs on starboard with a beautifully detailed table and console between them have replaced the original settee. Blue leather upholstery, a distinctive headliner, new Cantulupi lighting with dimmers(2009), and custom mini-blinds modernize and dramatically improve the yacht while allowing the classic ambiance.
With updated countertops and appliances, the traditional feel of the yacht is augmented in such fashion as to combine the old with new. Cobalt blue Corian® counters contrast beautifully with the new stainless steel sink, fixtures, stove and microwave oven. A stainless port light in the cockpit foot-well allows both ventilation and a handy pass-thru to those up on watch. The interior has been freshly painted, maintaining the bright and open feeling.
Cabinets with tracks for easy opening for dishes and pots and pans
The Master Stateroom is aft with a queen-size berth to starboard. Double hanging lockers and bureaus on the port side provide ample storage. A mirrored vanity with stainless steel sink is on the forward bulkhead. The aft cockpit is private to the master stateroom, allowing direct deck access and an additional outdoor space, making this master cabin spectacular while swinging at anchor or having a private place to relax. This is a feature well loved by those owners lucky enough to have one. There is a separate head with a tub/shower, shower doors.
The Starboard Guest Cabin (or library) was converted to become an extension of the salon by removing a bulkhead panel and opening a pocket door. In this configuration it houses the book and wine collections offering a quiet place to sit and read. When in stateroom setup, the sofa converts to a full double bunk.
There is a private Head forward and access to the shower stall, shared with the port guest cabin.
The Port Guest Cabin is set up with upper and lower bunks. Like the starboard cabin, light from the large windows make this space feel bright and open. The traditional bunk arrangement features oak bunk rails and oak cabinetry. The space also has a private head, sharing the large shower with the starboard stateroom.
The Forward Stateroom has upper and lower bunks on the port side with television. The starboard side has built in hanging lockers and other storage compartments making ample storage. The cabin is finished in oak with a teak and holly sole. Access to the cabin is through the head from the guest cabins or directly from the deck via a ladder. A third head is adjacent to but separate from the other two forward heads.
A full-sized navigation desk with leather chair. The chart storage for 5K charts, is located starboard of the companionway.
