As the only Hinckley H-64 built with both the Tall-Rig and In-Mast furling, ALLEGIANCE is a highly sought after, offshore-capable vessel. Boasting a well-protected center cockpit, four staterooms including a master with full sized bathtub, and a private aft cockpit, this boat is the desire of every discerning yachtsman. New 7/8 old growth decks, upgraded teak trim, and a custom cream Awlgrip house top make her a head turner in every port. The current owner has worked tirelessly to upgrade ALLEGIANCE without compromising the original vision of Henry Hinckley’s design.
She has been updated with the latest systems and electronics, including a fully integrated Furuno TZ navigation system (2012) paired with a touch screen interface to monitor and control all aspects of the yacht’s navigation. The system features charting, high definition radar, current and forecasted satellite weather, environmental conditions (wind, waves, and water), automatic reporting and receiving of AIS along with a fully coupled autopilot. The system allows up to 5 iPads/iPhones to wirelessly monitor or control the yacht from anywhere onboard.
Perkins Diesels, installed new in 2004, will move the boat at hull speed under either engine, and with twin screws and a recently installed high-output bow thruster, she is extremely maneuverable in tight quarters. With a shallow draft centerboard keel drawing only 5’9” when fully retracted, ALLEGIANCE has the ability to be both an offshore baron and a gunkholers dream.

The main center cockpit is protected by a new dodger and custom bimini. A large destroyer wheel, Richie compass and all engine controls and instrumentation are housed at the custom steering binnacle. A folding cockpit table, custom helm hump, autopilot remote, VHF remote, 12V USB charging ports and an array of Furuno displays provide a commanding view of the environment. The cockpit has surround cushioned seating and provides ample on-deck entertainment.
The aft cockpit, also accessed from the Master Stateroom, is protected by a dodger, has a remote Furuno display and lockers for under-deck storage.
The massive raised main salon is a famed attribute of this design. Large windows allow ample light, and the layout allows for entertaining a high number of guests comparable to a much larger yacht. A large “L” shaped settee to port with Hi-Lo table allows either cocktails or fine dining for six. The original starboard settee was replaced with custom built lounge chairs surrounding a purpose built table & storage area. Blue leather upholstery, an updated layout, and new lighting support great evenings aboard with friends or family.
The master stateroom is found aft with a queen berth to starboard. Double hanging lockers and bureaus on the port side provide great storage and a mirrored vanity with Cobalt blue Corian countertops and stainless steel sink is on the forward bulkhead. The unique aft cockpit is private to the master stateroom, allowing direct deck access and an additional outdoor space, making this master cabin spectacular while swinging at anchor or having a private place to relax.
The starboard guest cabin was converted to become an extension of the salon by removing a bulkhead panel and opening a pocket door. This area is easily closed off, and converts to a full double bunk when in use as a stateroom. During the day this open area houses the book and wine collections offering a quiet place to sit and read adjacent to the main salon. There is a private head forward and access to the shower stall, shared with the port guest cabin.
The port guest cabin is fitted with upper and lower bunks. This traditional arrangement features oak bunk rails and oak cabinetry. The space also has a private head, sharing the large shower with the starboard stateroom. The raised cabin top promotes an immense amount of light through both cabins.
The Forward Stateroom has upper and lower bunks on the port side with television. The starboard side has built in hanging lockers and other storage compartments allowing for extended cruising. The cabin is finished in oak with a teak and holly sole. This forward cabin can be accessed directly from on deck, or through passage from either stateroom. A third head is adjacent to but separate from the other two forward heads.
With updated countertops and appliances, the traditional feel of the yacht is augmented in such fashion as to combine the old with new. Cobalt blue Corian® counters contrast beautifully with the stainless steel sink, fixtures, stove and microwave oven. A stainless port light in the cockpit foot-well allows both ventilation and a handy pass-thru to those up on watch. Built-in 13.5 cubic foot refrigerator w/separate freezer, 3-burner S/S propane stove with oven and broiler, Microwave, Ice Maker, Propane monitor with solenoid control, Exhaust and circulating fans, Track lighting and cabinets with tracks for easy opening for dishes and pots and pans.
