*** READY TO TAKE HER NEW OWNER TO CABO SAN LUCAS TODAY!!!***
Introduced in 1980, this second Hatteras 50 Convertible was designed to handle the then-new GM 8V92 diesels. Constructed on a beamy modified-V hull with balsa coring from the waterline up and a long keel, the Hatteras 50 is still regarded as a good-looking convertible.
Her wide beam provides interior accommodations that are generous for a boat this size (especially considering the extra-wide sidedecks). With two floorplans available, this particular Hatteras 50 Convertible is the popular 3-stateroom model.
The flybridge is huge with bench seating for seven. The original 550-hp 8V92 diesels will cruise at 19 knots and top at 21-22 (PowerBoat Guide).
