Antalya has all the systems needed for extended global exploration and adventure, yet, you will feel instantly comfortable and at home. There is nothing on board which is not clearly labeled, currently used, and easy to locate and isolate. Even though Antalya is presented with the technical library one would expect, I found myself not needing to look anything up.

She is so logically laid out and surprisingly simple to maintain and pilot, that you simply follow your instincts and logic. Her ergonomics are unbelievable. Sharp edges are all but nonexistent. Footing is sure, with no toe stubbers. Her flush deck allows for generous headroom throughout(6'2"), but even in tight spaces, you don't bang your head on anything.

We have all seen vessels with catalogs of equipment, on board; to the extent that we sometimes lose sight of what is the most important component- the hull form, mass, and integrity. Antalya’s hull form is the undisputed pinnacle of hull form design, in terms of off shore capabilities. Colin Archer’s classic double ender. Her lines and dimensions are true to the 1898 data, with 47 feet on deck length, 8 foot draft, and a beam of 16’4”.

She is crafted from Australian Spotted Gum wood, several inches thick, fastened with silica bronze spikes…..a true 200 year hull. True to the concept of mass equating to comfort and safety at sea, her displacement is 75,000 lbs, and her bridge clearance is 72’9”. This allows for a sail plan which allows very efficient conversion of available breeze to horsepower.

She has not been chopped up in to the typical charter style layouts, like many of the yachts available today. Many of these layouts resemble a carton designed to carry eggs, rather than Antalya’s purposeful, open and exquisite interior.

Her hull material is the clear choice for global travel. Condensation is non-existent in even the coldest locations and waters, as her massive hull insulates very well. Her hull is strong enough to enable Antalya to cruise on when impacts stop voyages short on lesser vessels. Her hull was crafted in 1980. Antalya is equipped with a classic GARDNER engine.

Antalya's Northern Lights Generator. Please inspect some of the pictures of these systems such as her superb wiring in the "full specs" area here.

Antalya has NO worn out components....

As beautiful as her lines are, and as warm and inviting as her interior is; Antalya’s very essence is born from her robust, secure and sea kindly design and presence.

I invite you to compare Antalya to ANY sailboat afloat, regardless of price, year of construction or size.. Antalya is fully capable of cruising the Arctic and Antarctic, as well as any destination in between.

Antalya is currently offered at a price which is a fraction of what knowledgeable buyers are paying for yachts capable of much, much less. Her presence and capabilities are priceless. If you are tired of being let down when you travel to inspect a yacht which suits your standards and requirements, you have my word that you will not be disappointed when you step aboard Antalya. Your journey to visit her will be rewarded with an inspection of a truly superb and unique sailing vessel. You will be rewarded the moment you step aboard and she accepts your weight with an all but imperceptible motion. Antalya strikes you as one cohesive unit....not a collection of catalog components you come across in magazines. Her systems are simple, oversized,  clearly thought out and labeled accordingly. You will instantly recognize that no shortcuts were taken in her construction, or fitment of her stunning interior.

I invite you to hit the "full specs" button and tour her descriptions and equipment lists. You may expect Antalya to deliver an exception-free survey.
