General Information

This  Cobra 850 can only be described as being in very good for her age & has been exceptionally well maintained and updated. Rigged as a sloop, she has slab reefing on the mainsail & roller reefing on the foresail. She has a Beta 20 HP engine that was replaced in 1998. She has a huge 9’6”  beam & her cabin provides 4 berths, a navigation station, galley with gas hob & heads with sink & marine toilet. In addition she has  a hot water system, Eberspacher cabin heating, a full cockpit tent and hot water cockpit shower. Her interior is in great condition & a credit to her current owners who have replaced all the headlining and upholstery. This Cobra 850 fin keel cruising yacht is truly in very good condition for her age. She offers a light bright & spacious cabin with high solid teak woodwork & comfortable upholstery. She has 4 good size berths & many home comforts including hot & Cold pressurised water, fitted cabin heating & a compact but useful galley. In addition, she is wired for shore power & even has a hot & cold shower in the cockpit. Using the full cockpit tent with window covers, your modesty can be preserved while taking a hot shower and this area can also offer useful additional seating when the weather is not so good. Her saloon provides a very useful navigation station & chart table with VHF, GPS & Navtex digital weather information, all close at hand. On deck, she is also well equipped with many features including mainsail slab reefing with lazy jacks and zip up boom cover. The condition of this boat has to be seen to be fully appreciated and she offers fantastic value for money.

The Cobra 850 is notably roomy for a boat of her size with lots of storage. She sails well & is easy to handle.
