The C&C Landfall 48 is one of the best values for a raised salon cruiser on the market. It has excellent sailing qualities due to its generous sail plan, fine hull form and high ballast to displacement ratio which makes it very stable and fast. One of the C&C Landfall 48s was first in Class by a wide margin in the Caribbean 1500 several years ago. Its large diesel pushes and maneuvers it well. It has dual station steering with full engine controls at the pilothouse helm station. The electric primary winches make sailing easy even with a good breeze. There is a very large comfortable cockpit and wide, easy to negotiate, decks. Below, the interior is varnished teak. There is tremendous amount of living space and a huge amount of storage. The interior layout works well for coastal cruising, liveaboard and offshore passage makers. The upholstery is recently new. The boat needs detailing and upgrading of electronics and equipment but offers one of the biggest and best choices available on the market considering its size, type and capabilities. | ||
