PRICE LOWERED. TWO BOAT OWNER!
The merits of the Hood designed Bristol 32 are well known. However, this Bristol 32 is a quite unique. She features a very rare factory installed cutter rig complete with bowsprit and self-tacking staysail for offshore work, with a removable inner forestay that allows her to sail as a sloop rig for daysailing & weekending. Paragon has been owned by the same family since new and has been constantly upgraded and maintained over the years. She has an extensive sail inventory including storm sails, a 2008 diesel with 800 hours, updated Raymarine electronics, and more. Paragon is a veteran of many Bermuda trips and is equipped and ready to go again. Don't miss this opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind Bristol 32.
"This Bristol immediately distinguishes herself from the others with her bowsprit which adds to the long graceful overhangs fore and aft. The bow sprit and bow pulpit provide more sail area where it counts most and room on the foredeck for the removable inner forestay and self-tacking reefable staysail so she can sail cutter rigged when offshore or with full quick range of motion for the symmetrical spinnaker and spinnaker pole or the asymmetrical cruising spinnaker.
The Long overhangs allow her to sail above her calculated hull speed of 6 to 8 knots when heeled - at which point she stiffens up nicely. Because of her narrow beam and full keel, she can heave-to with ease in Gulf Stream conditions where it counts."
