A Performance Sailboat, 126 PHRF, she is a wide bodied boat, faster than a J-30 & includes 6 Genoas, 3 Spinnakers, Diesel w/ folding prop. Excellent club racer. Incredible sailing boat! We have been doing lots of "squaring away" on this boat: Stiffening of stanchion bases, reworking of aft berth support, completed blister repair (photos to prove). THIS IS A VALUE!! Out of the water now, we have recently finished a complete Epoxy Blister repair job with the West System & largely "structural filler" that DOES NOT accept water penetration. Currently she has the first coat of BALTO PLATE. Before she is launched she will have 2 more coats and will be wet sanded to a high level of finish. As we complete the effort the price will advance. Next we are going to refinish the sides in "FIRE ENGINE" RED Imron. She will reach out and grab you. Can not wait to see the results. To add to the improvement list, we have recently refinished the teak toerail by sanding it down to NEW WOOD and installing 3 coats of Cetol. Next we are about to cut new LEXAN hatchboard. Going to be something !! Update: as of this writing we have stiffened the stanchion bases from the interior side with fiberglass plates as the resulting increase in security will attest. All of this is putting this Soverel in very "desirable condition". The Soverel 30 is FAST! FAST IS FUN !!! And she is getting prettier every day!
