She is a Fin Keel Sloop, with a ballast that is molded lead encapsulated in glass with no keel bolts. The hull is in very good shape with no noticeable blisters or other issues.
The deck is non skid and in excellent shape for her age. There is a single lifeline attached to stainless steel stanchions, two stern and one bow cleat and both bow and transom pulpits are stainless steel. The helm includes the optional Stainless steel wheel pedestal with compass and autohelm.
She is a deck stepped sloop rig. Two broonze winches in the cockpit and two #10 mounted on the mast for halyard control, make this a great single handed boat. She comes with three sails, one main with cover, one working jib, one Genoa, and one Blooper(semi-spinnaker). She also has Harken Roller furling for continued convenience.
She was originally equipped with a gas, Atomic engine, but has been repowered with a 12HP Yanmar Diesel. The age and hours are unknown, as it was an aftermarket change and there is no hour meter. The engine does appear to be in good working order and well cared for. The Yanmar turns a three blade, bronze propeller.
Typical Coast Guard safety equipment, ground tackle, etc. is included to make her turn-key.
The interior has accomodations for six, with a double forward v-berth, with hinged door for privacy. There is a full head aft of the forward V-berth with manul head and holding tank system and sink. Salon seating includes port and starboard settee's, a folding table, and rear quarter berth. The galley is to starboard and is L-shaped and includes a stainless steel sink, alcohol stove and icebox.
This is a very nice, well maintained and cared for Sailboat. She has a current survey, and is priced very well for a quick sale. She also includes, PAID WINTER STORAGE!!! This is a great, family cruising sailboat that can be had at a very economical price. She is easy to sail and perfect for the new cruising family or a seasoned veteran just looking for some comfortable coastal cruising.
