For you boat historians: This boat was the final boat in production and not yet completed when Matthews filed for bankruptcy in 1975. The boat was purchased out of bankruptcy and taken to Portland Boat Works in Portland, MA where it was completed in December 1978. It was then titled and documented as a 1979 Matthews making this boat a beautiful piece of this historical builder’s legacy.
