Wild Rose was built by the Jarvis Newman Boatyard of Southwest Harbor, Maine with a handlaid fiberglass hull and deck assembly. She was then completed at Liberation Yachts in Rhode Island with attention to detail in design and craftsmanship. She has a nice layout below with fine woodwork and sleeps 5. Solid hand-laid fiberglass hull and deck, plus reinforcing built by the Jarvis Newman Yard in Southwest Harbor, Maine. She was handsomely completed by Liberation Yachts in Rhode Island. Her trim inside and out is teak, with bare cockpit seats and sole and varnished rails and interior. She has inside ballast, a dark green hull with a red bottom..
4-91 Westerbeke diesel, 30 HP. Fresh water cooled. 2:1 Hurth reduction gear. 2-blade bronze propeller on a 1" bronze shaft. 605 engine hours. Stuffing box repacked and raw water impeller replaced 2012. Edson worm steering. During the winter of 2014-15, her exhaust hoses were upgraded and a new muffler installed.

Sleeps 5 below. Aft of rope locker are two vee berths forward with lockers below. Next aft starboard is 6'7" settee/single berth with lockers below and shelves outboard. Next aft stb is a double quarterberth in aft of cabin. Galley is to port with ice box, gimballed CNG stove and oven, brass sink with hand pump and ample counter and storage space. Enclosed head aft to port with Lectrasan toilet w/Y valve, sink, and linen cabinet outboard. The cabin is painted white with varnished teak trim, varnished pine ceiling, and teak and holly sole with 6'1" headroom. With six opening bronze ports, it is a well-lit and ventilated cabin with beautiful craftsmanship and details.
Sails and Rigging
The Dacron main, staysail, and roller-furling jib are older but serviceable. Sail Covers. Douglas fir main mast, black spruce boom, gaff, staysail boom and bow sprit--all varnished. SS standing rigging with bronze chainplates and toggles. Synthetic running rigging and halyards, varnished wood blocks and cleats. Bronze deck hardware.
