Hallberg Rassy's are known far and wide for their sturdy construction, superb craftsmanship and signature seaworthiness, these easy to handle Olle Enderlein designed models are globally respected for their elegant lines and spirited performance. A total of 469 hulls were produced between 1978 and 1985 and in 1978 the Hallberg-Rassy 26 received the honourable "Golden Steering Wheel" award in the Swedish yachting magazine Båtnytt. Minstrel of Ellos is presented to the market in very nice condition. She has 4 full-length berths, 1.75m of headroom, galley and separate heads compartment making her ideal for family cruising.

Hull and Construction
The hull is in white and of monolithic fibreglass/polyester construction, the deck and superstructure are creams and of sandwich fibreglass/polyester construction. She has a long fin keel with 1100kg of cast iron ballast, a transom hung rudder and tiller steering in an aft style cockpit.
The interior is well thought out and of a high quality with 5' 8" (1.78m) headroom in the saloon, the heads and forward cabin being slightly lower. The interior is mahogany and blue upholstery.
The forward cabin has a large, comfortable double berth; length 2.0 m, width at shoulder 1.6 m. Water tank and stowage below. The forward cabin also provides the heads which consist of a Jabsco toilet and a manual foot pump, fresh water washbasin. There is also a hanging locker and mirror. There is a folding door separating the heads and forward cabin from the main saloon.
The main cabin/saloon has two good sized sofa berths on port and stbd side, length 2.0 m. Behind the swing up backrests are stowage and there are deep shelves above the backrests. There is a folding table on the port side, which is 90 x 70 cm with high rails in position. Reading lamps at all berths.
The L-shaped galley is situated on the port side with stainless steel sink and fresh water pump. The galley consists of:
- Insulated cool box, 70 litres.
- Two burner kerosene Origo 3000 stove in gimbals.
- Lockers for crockery and stowage.
- Good work-surfaces in teak laminate that runs along the boat below the cabin steps. The starboard side is set up as a chart table.
Powered by a Volvo MD5A (1979) 8hp single cylinder inboard marine diesel engine with sail drive to a two blade fixed prop.
