Everlast is a nice well cared for Shannon 38. In 2006 while cruising to Maine for her homeport of Shelter Island. she was struck by a fishing trawler's outrigger, this brought down the mast but did no damage to the rest of the boat.

Everlast's interior is varnished teak with a varnish solid teak and holly cabin sole. Starting forward is a large V-berth cabin with solid teak lining the hull and above each berth is a full length shelf, reading lights are mounted on the bulkhead. Ventilation is excellent through a large overhead hatch and 2 opening ports. the cabin is closed off by a full length teak door.
Aft of the stateroom is a passageway with hanging lockers to port and head to starboard. the head includes a vanity with sink, H& cold pressure water a marine toilet and a H&C shower. Overhead is a dorade vent and an opening port adds ventilation.
The main cabin is next which has a pilot berth to port over a settee that slides inboard to form a wide berth. The backrest of the lower berth hinges down to reveal excellent storage lockers. 3 large drawers are under the berth. Forward of these berths is a low hanging locker with shelf above, there is a Force Ten propane heater above this self.
To starboard is a settee berth which also slides inboard to form a wider berth, with excellent storage lockers behind the backrests.
Just off the center-line is a floor mounted drop leaf solid teak dining table.
Aft in the main cabin to port is a large wet locker, followed by the navigation table. There is a large quarter berth aft of the nav station. There are 9 opening ports, three dorade vents and a large overhead hatch for excellent ventilation throughout the main cabin.
The galley is aft of the main cabin to starboard, next to the companionway. Its "U" shape layout makes it the ideal offshore layout. Large counter surfaces and numerous enclosed lockers for food preparation and storage. Stainless steel double sink, 3 burner propane stove with oven, and large ice box with dividing sections. 2 cutlery drawers, trash bin, and numerous enclosed pan lockers complete the usability of this galley.
