This is a clean, mechanically excellent – ready to sail – quality vessel. She’s a good performer, fast, comfortable and safe and roomy for a 28-footer. The inboard starts quickly, runs well and will cruise at 6 knots. Her efficient fin keel enables her to point very well to windward and she is highly maneuverable and spins on a dime. Much of the equipment has been upgraded or is new. She sleeps 5 in two cabins with a max 6’ headroom. In the main cabin there is a fold-down table when needed and also a navigation station with chart light. There is storage beneath all bunks and 2 in the self-bailing cockpit. This is a 2 owner boat. The current owner has sailed her in theApostleIslandsfor 14 years. It is a fresh water boat only.
Hello, my name is Bill Hooper. I have been in the sailboat business for over 30 years and started in the service repair end and moved into sales. So, I have a good understanding of systems and how to evaluate most everything dealing with the vessel. In addition I have been sailing and racing boats for all those years and so understand the needs of various sailing venues from inland dinghies to offshore salt water passage making and most anything in between. I have a great knowledge base involving most anything with sailing and can help you sort out the differences and what is important in a boat used for different purposes and in different sailing areas.
