This vessel is the traditional aft cockpit model. The boat has been kept largely original with few modifications. The spacious beautiful interior is all wood. Easy to use galley with 2 burner alcohol stove, sink, counter space, cabinets, and built-in ice cooler on starboard side. Walk-in head with sink and mirror on port side. Forward of the galley is a unique marine cast-iron stove that burns wood or charcoal. Behind the stove pipe is a drying closet for wet clothes. Forward of the stove is a chart table. Also forward is a sitting and dining area with removable dining table. All cushions are in great shape and beautifully upholstered. The boat sleeps four comfortably, 2 in the V-berth and 2 in the aft quarter berths and has ample storage space.
The Nor’ Sea 27 is a first class rugged pocket cruiser with live-aboard comfort and sea worthiness at the heart of her design. She is one of only a half-dozen American production boats designed and built to spend a lifetime on the ocean, rather than in a marina. That being said, she not only does well on a cruising voyage, but is nimble, fast, and a real pleasure to take out for the day.
