The Bertram 42’ Motor Yacht model is somewhat rare & extremely desirable; featuring the heavy fiberglass construction for which Bertrams are famous. "THE CONTESSA" features an enclosable & canopied raised aft deck, Pilot House & Flybridge with Bimini & a large uncluttered foredeck. Her flush deck design makes it easy to get around on the weather deck (even for those of us who are beginning to experience mobility problems) and safer for children & guests who are unaccustomed to being aboard boats.  Her side boarding gate leads into the covered aft deck & pilot house area which has the lower helm to starboard & wet bar to port along with main salon companionway & the flybridge access steps.
