This 1977 Moody 33 Mk 1 has a center cockpit and has had only two owners from new. The present owners are retiring from sailing after twenty two years of ownership. She has been regularly upgraded over the years and a lot of her gear is nearly new, including a substantial twin groove "Facnor" roller furling gear and (2013) standing rigging. She is a comfortable family cruiser that is capable of a good turn of speed. Her inventory includes a Thornycroft T90 35hp diesel engine, mainsail, furling genoa, light genoa, spinnaker, six berths, colour chart-plotter and more. She has been professionally maintained over the years, most recently by Rossbrin Boatyard, where she now lies. "Powder Monkey" has been laid up ashore annually for at least six months every year since she was built. Her hull looks sound, she has never been raced and is priced to sell.
