Down below she is bright and well ventilated with 3 large hatches and 12 portlights. The companionway hatch is slightly offset which allows for a well-equipped U-shaped galley to port with large capacity refrigeration, a gimbaled stove and a double stainless sink. Starboard of the galley is a full sized, sit down chart table.
There is an inside passage way starboard to the aft cabin that provides access to a large engine room encompassing the remainder of the mid ships beam. The master aft stateroom features a full double berth. The private head has been converted into a tool room and houses the Sea Recovery Watermaker. There is additional access to the stateroom is available via a second companionway from the cockpit.
The saloon is a roomy open space with a straight settee to starboard (with lee cloths) and the main cabin dinette to port. The 2 position table converts to a double berth. Centered in the saloon, the keel stepped mast creates a safe handhold when at sea.
Forward, the cabin has a V-berth with full standing head room and shares an enclosed head with shower aft.
These boats were heavily constructed using hand-laid fiberglass matt and polyester resin.
Below the waterline is a fin keel cutaway at the forefoot and aft, reducing the wetted surface which makes the boat good for both light air performance and a good turning radius. A full-size molded-in skeg supports the rudder and provides protection. The prop is also protected, mounted between the skeg and the rudder.
Last bottom paint 2015.
