Catalina Pop Top Centerboard Sloop

This is a racing machine has a lighter weight hull than the newer Catalina sister boats so she has a racing advantage!  She has newly Awl Gripped hull sides, bottom, centerboard and detachable rudder and has always been dry sailed since the paint job.  No bottom paint has ever been applied.  She was used for only Wednesday night races and in an annual regatta for the last 11 years.  The owner has put on excellent sails and stripped off anything that was not needed.  For this sale however he has brought back most of the interior gear.  The outboard is a 3.5 HP Nissan 4 stroke engine with very low hours.  Rigging is in excellent shape and the only thing this boat needs is a deck paint job.  Apparently the owner never felt the deck paint would make it go faster!  She has to be seen to be believed.  There is lots of storage under all of the seats and in the lazarettes.  This is a Great boat for a great price.
