The Valiant 40 is still one of the very best ocean sailing vessels you can buy and today the older Valiant are truly a value in boat dollars. For good reason, Valiant 40 owners love their boats. The boat is built incredibly well with virtually no weaknesses; thus many of the older boats are in amazingly good condition. So it is with our Valiant 40 Haishu!

The Valiant 40 gives its owners an irresistible combination of endearing characteristics.The Valiant was the first “Performance Cruiser" and it was pretty radical in the 1970s. Bob Perry’s long fin “cruising” keel and skeg hung rudder has become the definition of a stable fast ocean going boat today! The Valiant 40 designed 35 years ago still provides something cruising boats just didn't have, the ability to sail fast. And while she sails fast, she also sails safe. This is a rugged, robust, solid, safe, capable cruising vessel that is also affordable!

Our Valiant 40 “Haishu” is truly ready to sail away. She has been recently refit and upgraded for extensive cruising. As often happens, the current owner has had a change of plans and circumstances force the sale of his dream boat.
