Custom Pinky Schooner

DOVE II

Ted Brewer derived the design for Dove II from the original Pinky working schooner Dove.  She was built by Penobscot Boatworks using their well-tried construction technique which is strong and simplifies annual maintenance.  She has very comfortable and well laid out accommodations for a schooner this size, and is reported to be very able and sail particularly well under a variety of sail combinations and conditions. Upgrades under current ownership include new rig, major electrical system upgrades and 2500 hour engine service in 2011.  In the owner's words "Ted Brewer hit a home run with this design."
