Bayliner Montego

The Bayliner MONTEGO is a unique model as it was a knockoff of the 34' Hatteras hull. The hulls were built for Bayliner by Sea-Horse Marine in Arlington. Sea-Hoarse was a very reputabile fiberglass manufacturer specalizing in commercial vessels. The hand laid hull construction is the finest quality. The boats were subsequently built in the Arlington Bayliner home plant. Hatteras litigated for design infringement of the Jack Hargrave design and that proved to be the end of Sea-Horse Marine, which then became another acquisition of Bayliner. That being said, this is a very well built boat with a design pedigree not found in many locally built baots. The seakeeping abilities of these boats id remarkable for their size.
